My compact, duplex house is in a suburb approximately 19km outside of Cape Town called Bloubergstrand (Translated means 'Blue Mountain Beach because of the exquisite vistas of Table Mountain and the turquoise ocean). My home is an 8-minute drive and 30-minute walk from Bloubergstrand beachfront. I am a qualified schoolteacher and currently work as a freelance tutor. I share my home with my two cats. I have a room with a queen size bed for couples and a smaller room for solo travelers which are both upstairs. Only one room can be booked at a time. There is a shared bathroom, kitchen, lounge and dining area. I have a small front and back garden, ideal for kite and wind surfers who want to dry their kit. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, then my home is the place for you! I know all the good service providers for ocean kayaking, kite surfing, wave surfing, canoeing, hiking, padel etc. I would also be happy to direct you to all the good restaurants, wine farms, markets and other places of interest that Cape Town and surrounds, has to offer! I am able to offer transport and escort you on any excursions at an additional cost (including airport transfers).

- Balance of payment is required upon arrival. I can provide transport (including airport transfers - at a reasonable hour), meals (lunch and dinner), trips to markets, wine farms and other places of interest at an additional cost.
- Only paying guests are allowed on the premises. Should you wish to invite a friend or relative, please run it by me first.
- Please clean up after yourself if you make use of the kitchen and when using the bathroom.
- Strictly no smoking in the house - garden is fine
- No drug use or excessive drinking
- If you are allergic to cats or don't like them then this is not the home for you.
