Casita Respira

We are located in the mountains side west of the Island of Puerto Rico in rural Isabela nesteled between Quebradilla & San Sebastian. We bought our home because we wanted to rest and respirar (breathe). We offer a quiet restful homestay with the sounds of birds, coquis, and sometimes galloping horses coming down the mountain. The community is friendly and most have lived here for generations. We have a local clinic, bakeries, pharmacies, ice cream & pizza shops and small food truck businesses. The surrounding area is a rural community with rolling green hills and close to amenities (20 min to main shopping on Route 111). My husband Ben and I recently relocated here from Boston, Massachusetts both first generation Puerto Rican now semi retired in our parents birthplace. Our home is near the Guajataca Forest Reserve & Lake/Campgrounds. We are close to Gozolandia Waterfall (10min drive) and hiking trails. Beautiful beaches are only a 40min drive! We would love to host you while you study, vacation, rest, or just hang out in our beautiful Puerto Rico. Please note: that we are not close to public transportation but will do our best connect you to local private companies. We do offer a parking spot on premises.
