Nonsmoking household, piano available for those who know how to play, high floor of 12-storey building, two elevators, in Historic Center. Not suitable for overweight/obese guests. Persons with diabetes mellitus, Type 1 or Type 2, are welcome! No pets are permitted. Quiet, safe, centrally located. 1 block from Metro, supermarket, regular food market, many stalls and "fondas" for tasty local food, endless transportation options. Host is young-minded, in 70's, musician, painter, and diabetologist and diabetes educator, busy 7 days a week. I travel often, so advance contact is needed to assure reservation for a time period when I am home. Speak several foreign languages (English, French, Spanish, Dutch, some Deutsch, some Arabic). There IS free WIFI. The room rate includes the following services: unlimited WIFI internet access, inside the home. Towel, sheets, blankets, soap; free local telephone calls to landlines (calls to cell phones charged at going rate). Minimum stay: 3 days; maximum stay: 7 days (or to be negotiated after first 3 days. Additional available services at an extra charge (payable directly to your host on arrival): Safe, private car pick-up service from/to airport or bus station: 40.00 USD one-way, each way, if arranged prior to arrival. Cost of sleeping space is $40 USD/night, payable on arrival in cash. Credit cards and checks are not accepted as payment. - No central heat or cooling, as not needed; climate is ideal year-round. Blankets are always available.
- You may use the kitchen, but you are always responsible for thoroughly cleaning up after you have cooked and eaten.
- Clothing optional friendly. 100% drug UNfriendly (no drug/tobacco use permitted inside or outside apartment, at any time whatsoever).
- NO SMOKING allowed, inside or outside the apartment, at any time whatsoever.
