Bula! Welcome to Vatudei Homestay. We are Pita and Sese Cokomata, and we warmly welcome you to our family home in the beautiful village of Somosomo on Naviti Island in the Yasawa Islands. Our home is simple, comfortable, and filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of Fijian hospitality. We have opened our doors to guests from around the world because we enjoy sharing our culture, traditions, and way of life with those looking for a genuine Fijian experience. Pita is a retired Sea Captain who spent many years sailing across the Pacific, while Sese is a retired librarian who loves sharing stories, local history, and our village traditions. Together, we enjoy preparing home-cooked Fijian meals, introducing guests to our customs, and making everyone who stays with us feel like part of our family. Whether you're exploring our beautiful island, relaxing by the beach, or simply sitting with us to share stories, we hope you'll experience the true spirit of Fiji through our home and our community. Our wish is for you to slow down, disconnect from the busy world, embrace the peaceful rhythm of village life, and leave with unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships. We look forward to welcoming you into our home. Moce mada and see you soon!
