Welcome to La Milagrosa Finca Campestre, our family home in the beautiful countryside of Masinga, Santa Marta, Colombia. I’m Yolima, your host, and I live at the property. I enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures, sharing experiences, cooking, and helping my guests discover the area. I speak English and Spanish, so communication is easy and I am happy to help you during your stay. Our home is surrounded by nature and mango trees, with beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It is located approximately 13 km from central Santa Marta and offers a peaceful environment away from the busy city. The house has two bedrooms. One has a comfortable double bed, while the other has four bunk beds and can accommodate up to eight guests. Both rooms have air conditioning. Our accommodation Double bedroom A comfortable room with a double bed, perfect for couples or individual travelers looking for a private space. Shared bedroom A dormitory-style room with 4 bunk beds, accommodating up to 8 guests. This is a great option for friends, groups, or solo travelers looking for an affordable and social stay. We also welcome individual travelers who are looking for a good-value homestay experience. Enjoy our home and surroundings Our home offers a relaxing and enjoyable environment where guests can unwind and connect with nature. Guests can enjoy: - A swimming pool, perfect for cooling off and relaxing. - A BBQ area, ideal for preparing and sharing delicious meals. - Beautiful sunrise and sunset views, surrounded by the natural beauty of Santa Marta. - The opportunity to learn about mango farming and discover more about our mango trees and the work behind growing this delicious tropical fruit and experience a little of everyday life at a Colombian finca. I love sharing my home with travelers and creating a friendly atmosphere where guests can feel comfortable, relax, and enjoy an authentic experience of Santa Marta. - We want you to enjoy a peaceful, comfortable and memorable stay surrounded by nature. Our house rules are designed to help protect our guests, the property and the tranquility of the finca.
- 1. Respect for the property
- Please treat La Milagrosa as you would your own home. Take care of the furniture, appliances, kitchen equipment, pool area and other facilities. Any damage caused by negligence or misuse may be charged to the guest.
- 2. Pool safety
- The swimming pool is unsupervised. There is no lifeguard on duty.
- Guests use the pool at their own responsibility and must take appropriate safety precautions. Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible accompanying adult.
- Please do not run around the pool, push others into the water or engage in dangerous behavior.
- Please do not use the pool while under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
- 3. Quiet hours
Good to knowThere is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Yolima offers qualified language instruction in her native language Spanish. One hour of instruction costs 11.00 USD. The classes will be given by the host himself at the accommodation.
