More Than Just a Place to Stay ― Some of the best travel memories are not made at famous landmarks, but around a dinner table, in a neighborhood supermarket, or during a simple walk through a quiet residential street. Hello, and welcome! My name is Junko, and I live in a quiet residential neighborhood in Saitama, just north of Tokyo. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese experience rather than simply a place to sleep, I'd be delighted to welcome you into my home. I've been studying English for many years because I truly enjoy meeting people from around the world. For me, hosting isn't just about offering a room—it's about sharing cultures, learning from one another, and creating meaningful memories together. My home is ideal for travelers who are curious about everyday life in Japan. Instead of only visiting famous tourist attractions, you can experience what life is really like for ordinary Japanese people. We might visit a neighborhood supermarket, browse local shopping streets, stop by a café, or simply enjoy a walk through a peaceful residential area. These simple experiences often become the most memorable part of a trip. If our schedules allow, I'd also be happy to take you to some of my favorite nearby places, such as: • Omiya Bonsai Village – a unique place to discover the beauty and philosophy of bonsai. • The Railway Museum – one of Japan's finest museums for anyone interested in trains, technology, or history. • Local parks, seasonal festivals, or hidden spots that many visitors never discover. I welcome guests who enjoy conversation, cultural exchange, and language learning. Whether you'd like to practice English, learn some Japanese, or simply talk about our different lives and cultures, I'd be happy to spend time together. At the same time, I completely respect your privacy. If you'd rather relax quietly after a day of sightseeing, that's perfectly fine too. I believe the best homestay experience is one that feels comfortable and natural for both host and guest. Please note that any transportation costs, admission fees, meals outside the home, or personal expenses during optional outings are the guest's responsibility. If you're looking for luxury accommodation, my home may not be the right choice. But if you're looking for genuine conversation, warm hospitality, and the chance to experience everyday Japan through the eyes of a local, I'd love to meet you. I hope your stay will become one of your most treasured memories of Japan—and perhaps the beginning of a lasting international friendship. I look forward to welcoming you! Warm regards, Junko
