We are a family of four living in Hamamatsu City: a husband and wife, one daughter (born in 2021), and one son (born in 2024). We moved into our 20-year-old house in April 2026. It is located in a quiet area surrounded by rich greenery. Although we used to live in the city, we were fortunate to begin a countryside lifestyle with a small farm attached to our home. While watching our daughter and son grow up, we spend our days learning various kinds of knowledge and practical skills related to rural living. Our property has a main house and a separate building next to it. Our family mainly lives in the separate building, so guests can usually enjoy a relaxed stay with a comfortable sense of privacy and personal space. However, we do ask guests to follow a few basic house rules so that everyone can stay comfortably. When sending your first inquiry, we would appreciate it if you could briefly introduce yourself, explain why you are interested in staying with our family, and share how you would like to spend your time here. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accept reservations if there is not enough information provided. Before confirming your reservation, please upload your email address and a profile photo to your account. 【About access】Our area is conveniently located near the highway. The nearest train station is about 5 minutes away by car. If you arrive by train, we can pick you up on your first day. If you have an international driver’s license and insurance/legal conditions allow, we may be able to lend you our car for an additional fee. You may also use a nearby rental car service. We also have bicycles available, so please feel free to ask. 【About English】Our English is still limited, but we are eager to communicate and learn together. We hope to connect using body language, translation apps, and a willingness to understand each other. 【About meals】Basically, guests are asked to prepare their own meals. However, on some days, we may be able to provide meals for an additional fee. Depending on the host’s schedule, we can also offer optional one-day experiences (additional fee required), such as outdoor activities, visits to local shrines and temples, sightseeing around Lake Hamana, and trips to Mt.
