I lived overseas for about 25 years and still business travel overseas for work. I've traveled to 120 countries around the world, including Europe, Asia, Oceania, North and South America, and the Middle East. My travel photos are my treasures. Now, as a father, I'm raising my children while sharing the joy of overseas travel and language learning. Please feel free to visit us. During your homestay, you may participate in optional tours and activities offered by our family. Popular options include: 1...Wearing a *Yukata* (a traditional Japanese summer garment). 2...a hands-on experience making traditional boiled dumplings. 3...An experience of cooking traditional Japanese home-style soba, udon, and ramen noodles. 4...attending a *kendo* (Japanese swordsmanship) practice session. (available only on Wednesdays night, Saturday's night, and Sunday's morning). 5...visiting a local nursery school and primary school. 6...Half-day trekking in nature parks, tours to Kamakura, Miura Coast, Yokohama Chinatown, and the Hakone/Mt. Fuji area, etc. (Available only on weekends and public holidays). 7...You can also participate in language exchange between Japanese and Chinese.
