Welcome to my relaxed little corner of Siem Reap! My home is on the quieter edge of town, where life moves a little slower and you can settle in, get comfortable, and experience Cambodia beyond the usual tourist trail. I’m a retired Western expat offering two comfortable guest rooms in my shared home. One has a private en-suite bathroom, while the other has its own balcony. Both rooms are upstairs, and the house has plenty of shared space to enjoy, including the living areas, kitchen, and a large balcony. There’s high-speed internet if you need to work or stay connected, as well as a washing machine for keeping life simple. This is definitely more **home than hotel**. In the morning, help yourself to fresh fruit, vegetables, and bread. There’s usually something slowly cooking for later in the day, and if you spot leftovers in the fridge, they’re fair game. You’re welcome to cook for yourself too, just make yourself at home. I especially enjoy helping guests see a different side of Siem Reap. I have a scooter and am happy to give you a ride into town when I can, or we might occasionally head out for a ride through the villages and countryside surrounding the city. There’s currently one bicycle available, and I’m hoping to add another one or two soon. Of course, you’re equally welcome to do your own thing and explore completely independently. The house is meant to be easygoing. Cook something, work online, stretch out with a book, sit on the balcony, explore for the day, or simply enjoy doing absolutely nothing for a while. Be social when you feel like it and enjoy your own space when you don’t. There’s no pressure to constantly be sightseeing or filling every hour of your trip. 2 minute walk to I Grand Gym. $6 a day for pool access. Also options for 30 day membership. My goal is simple: **I want this to feel less like you rented a room in Cambodia and more like you temporarily live here.** Unpack your bag, get comfortable, slow down, and make yourself at home. One practical note: I’m not set up to accept credit cards, so payment for the room needs to be made in cash or QR, either US dollars or Cambodian riel. We’ll get that figured out easily.:) **Accessibility:** Both guest bedrooms are upstairs, and unfortunately there is no wheelchair-accessible bedroom.
