Perfect for one person or a couple seeking a peaceful 3 to 6 month rental. Being completely self-contained, this property is especially well-suited for graduate students looking for a serene, distraction-free environment to focus on their dissertation work. The cottage comes fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board, iron, and hair dryer—everything you need! Just a heads up: the fireplace isn't functional due to thatch concerns and fire safety regulations that would make insurance costs prohibitive. No worries though—there's a convenient laundry facility just a two-minute walk away in the nearby shopping area. You'll enjoy a peaceful setting with excellent amenities including a shower, toilet, washing machines, and dishwasher. Heating is included in your stay. Plus, we've installed a brand-new powerful Wi-Fi system that powers the TV Fire Stick beautifully, so it should work wonderfully for your computer too! There is a connecting door between the two sections of the cottage; this is unlocked, so I do have access to the old section of the two cottages. The concept here is that everything operates based on mutual trust. Haddenham village boasts fantastic rail connections to Oxford (24 minutes) and London (42 minutes), with Birmingham just 55 minutes away. You'll find the station is only a 6-minute stroll from your home, or you can catch the bus to Oxford right at your doorstep. Shops on hand: Morrisons is a minute away, and Co op is up by the station. Parking is in Fort End if you have a car. I will also provide the bed sheets and towels if needed. PS: There is a house dog called Dazzle, a young cocker, quite lively. But good-tempered.
