Welcome to "Kaguya-hime" (The Bamboo Princess), a hidden sanctuary in Kawasaki. I named my home "Kaguya-hime" because it is a rare find near the bustling city of Tokyo—a place where you can truly immerse yourself in the beauty of a traditional Japanese bamboo forest. In Japanese folklore, the beautiful Princess Kaguya was born from a glowing bamboo stalk. I hope that by staying here, you too will feel a sense of renewal and find your own "inner princess/prince" peace. The Experience: After climbing 66 stone steps, you are rewarded with a breathtaking view of deep green bamboo. The sounds here are the music of nature: the singing of "Uguisu" (Japanese bush warblers) and the gentle rustling of bamboo leaves. It is a space designed to help you "reset" your mind and body. Your Stay: I live here and cherish the opportunity for cultural exchange. Whether you want to learn about Japanese traditions or simply enjoy a quiet cup of tea while looking at the forest, I am here to make your stay special. This is not just a room; it is an invitation to experience the soul of Japan. Location: Located in Kanigaya (Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture), with easy bus access to Musashi-Kosugi Station. From there, it's a direct shot to Shibuya, Tokyo, Yokohama, and Haneda Airport.
