Affordable Central Brighton Homestay — £40/night For women and LGBTQIA+ visitors | 2-night minimum | Short stays and Monday–Friday commuter arrangements available Welcome to my colourful, spacious and peaceful Brighton home, conveniently located for the city centre, seafront, universities, hospitals, parks and independent shops. I offer an affordable, friendly homestay for visiting students, researchers, NHS and medical placements, professionals, short-course attendees and travellers looking for a comfortable base in Brighton. You'll be sharing with just one adult host. I'm an experienced host, having welcomed international students and visitors for over 18 years. I'm happy to help first-time and returning visitors make the most of Brighton, including its cultural events, wellbeing communities and LGBTQIA+ scene. My home is LGBTQIA+ friendly, neurodivergent-aware and suited to respectful guests who appreciate a calm, welcoming environment. Your Room & Facilities • Spacious double bedroom with desk and plenty of storage • 100% cotton bedding and towels provided • Blackout blind and blue-light blocking lamp • Wi-Fi and utilities included • Large, well-equipped shared kitchen for self-catering, with dishwasher and microwave • Shared living room with Netflix and Prime Video • Shared bathroom with bath and shower • Peaceful garden with outdoor seating • Pet-free environment • One laundry load per week included There are excellent transport links across Brighton and Hove, including connections to the universities and hospitals. Accessibility & Additional Support I am DBS-checked and experienced in welcoming guests with different needs. If you require an essential companion or personal assistant during your stay for disability-related support, please get in touch. This can usually be accommodated for a small additional charge. Rates & Booking • £40 per night, including bills • Minimum stay of 2 nights • Monday–Friday arrangements available for commuters and short courses • Longer short-term bookings considered, with monthly rates capped at £700 including bills • If your stay is under £100 you must pay in full to secure the booking. • Bookings over £100 a 25% deposit will be required to secure your booking plus booking fee. • Homestay Deposit will be used for stays over 4 weeks or more and I will send you the link for this. • Remaining balance payable in full on arrival. This is short-stay accommodation only. I do not offer permanent or long-term accommodation. Guests cannot register at the address or receive post. Booking Requirements I only respond to enquiries with a completed profile and photograph. Please send your proposed dates and a short introduction about yourself, including the purpose of your visit, before requesting a booking. Longer bookings may be prioritised depending on availability. International guests may be asked for passport and visa information, along with confirmation of their study or work placement, where relevant. Cancellation Policy • If you cancel with less than 7 days before arrival you will not be refunded. • No refund for shortening a stay once it has begun I look forward to welcoming you to Brighton!
