To view the visiting wildlife go to: (The retreat used to be called Launceston BNB Retreat) Relax whilst you watch the myriad of birds which visit the deck, for night viewing there is video cameras with infrared lights, this footage of the wildlife antics streams live onto the guests TV in their lounge. The retreat provides educational material about Tasmania's flora and fauna, or just enjoy viewing the wildlife from your private balcony with the best views of the South Esk River, the longest river in Tasmania, which eventually ends up in the Cataract Gorge.
