Your Home in Gumi, Korea

We are a warm and respectful four-member family living in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Our household includes two parents and two sons, both of whom are university students — so there are no young children at home. Your host, Jay, has interned in California, USA, and is fluent in English. Having also experienced life as a homestay guest in the U.S., Jay understands the value of both friendliness and personal space. Our family culture is open and welcoming — depending on your preferences, we’re happy to connect like friends, or simply give you the privacy you need. You’ll always feel respected and comfortable here. During weekdays, our parents and younger son are usually busy with work and school, but we often share meals or go on short trips together on weekends. Since we’ve lived in nearby Daegu for over 20 years, we can offer in-depth advice and recommendations for exploring both Gumi and the greater Daegu area.
