We live in Dublin 5 area, a short 7 minute walk to the train station and the bus stop is a 2 minute walk, so using public transport to get to the center of Dublin only takes 10 minutes via train or buses. Our home is a small house with big gardens. Raheny village is a 5 minute walk away and has shops, pharmacies, banks, cafe's, restaurants, pubs a gym and an excellent library for studying. UCD is approximately 1hr 45 minutes to 2 hours journey from my home. Trinity college and all colleges in the city centre are a short journey away using public transport. We are close to Sutton, Howth, Portmarnock and Malahide and a very short walk to St Anne's Park and the seafront. We have a 7yr old cat Nova I do not allow my cat upstairs near the rooms. The cost includes laundry for long-term guests, and all bills such as electricity, heating, wifi, bins and water. I also supply towels. I do work from home so please make sure you job or college course is during the morning and afternoon on week days. Earliest check in is 12 noon and latest check in is 10pm please be aware of this before booking your flights. Check out is 10.30am.

House rulesHomestay add 16% onto the cost of your stay this is not a security deposit, for short term stays, I require a 25% booking deposit sent to me after you book the room on the website. - For long term stays a month's deposit is paid when you book the room and on arrival a months rent is paid up front and every month of your stay thereafter.
- For long term stays your security deposit will be returned to you when you leave on condition you haven't damaged or broken anything during your stay. If you cancel up to two weeks before your arrival your deposit will be returned to you. While here, I require a months notice to leave from long term guests. I work from home during the day so please make sure your job or college course is during the morning and afternoon on week days.
- PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A FAMILY HOME therefore respect us and our home as you would expect us to respect yours. The shower is electric and is the most expensive electric item to use in the house, therefore I allow each guest a 10 minute shower once per day. If you require more than one shower per day then and extra fee is required. Under no circumstances are there clothes to be washed in the shower. I have a washing machine.
- If you break the shower it will cost you at least €600 to replace.
- We have a 7yr old long haired black cat, Nova, who is friendly & very independent, so if you don't like cats or are afraid of them please don't book here.
- No smoking anywhere in the house, smoking only in the garden. I have no problem with guests going out for a sociable drink but I do have reservations about those who become very drunk as this always causes problems.
- If you break anything in my home you must pay in full ie tradesman fees and or replacement fee. If you loose the key it will cost €15 to replace.
- You are free to come home at any time, but please be quiet for us and for the neighbours, especially between 10.30pm and 7.00 am.
- It is not permitted to bring other people into our home no matter what. By booking your place with us you are agreeing with these rules. Please feel free to ask questions. Smoking in the garden only.
